Campus has been developed in Java in order to exploit some of the graphical features that it offers. Upon starting Campus, a main window with several frames is set up. Four of these frames are text frames that display information, another two are used to display the map. Please refer to the screen-shots in the next few pages.

One of the map frames displays the black & white version of the map, which the visitor may click on to select her position. The second map features the same map with a transparent overlay. This transparent overlay is used as a visual interpretation of the algorithm that used to extract the best possible information from the map.

Standard information, i.e. (x, y) coordinates, name of building selected, MBR, etc. are printed in the first text frame.
